About Us
Avenue North Construction, LLC (ANC) is based in Phoenix, AZ and focuses on building multifamily units and horizontal apartments. Projects totaling 895 units of rentals are currently underway in both Las Vegas, NV and Phoenix, AZ. The investment arm of ANC, Avenue North, LLC has owned, managed, and sold over 1,600 additional multifamily units since 2011.
LEADERSHIP
Ryan Hartman
President of ConstructionRyan founded the company Avenue North, LLC in 2011. The company has acquired and sold 1,700 value-add apartment units exceeding $200 million of assets across Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona. In 2018, the company began acquiring and developing land across multiple states and has a construction pipeline that exceeds $200 million.
Avenue North Construction, LLC launched in 2021 to vertically integrate development and construction, and is a fee-build licensed general contractor for third party developers. Ryan is a member of the Arizona Multihousing Association, the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Investment Advisory Council, Vistage, Strategic Coach, and Tiger 21.
He graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
James Emert
Project ManagerJames Emert is part of the acquisitions and asset management team for Avenue North, joining in 2020.
Prior to Avenue North, James worked in Acquisitions for CVG Properties, underwriting over $1B in value-add multifamily properties in Arizona, Utah, and California. James has also held positions for Everest Healthcare Properties, VEREIT (NYSE: VER), Davlyn Investments, and Yardi Matrix.
James graduated from University of Arizona with a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Finance degree from University of San Diego. He is an active member of the Arizona ULI Young Leaders Group and a CFA level II candidate.
Jean Loredo
Regional Construction ManagerJean Loredo is Avenue North’s Regional Construction Manager and has over 30 years of experience in home building.
Prior to joining Avenue North, Jean worked for Meritage Homes Corporation (NYSE: MTH) for 16 years where he was a Regional Construction Manager. During his time at Meritage, Jean was responsible for all single-family and multifamily field operations in the West Valley and Scottsdale. He has overseen the development of thousands of homes and many masterplan communities over his 16-year career at Meritage. Jean managed a group of 30+ direct reports from multiple sites in Phoenix’s West Valley and Scottsdale, AZ.
Jean also owned his own business, Loredo’s Paint and Drywall for 6 years where he managed and operated a successful home remodel business.
